ANT 104: QUIZ FAQs

Not exactly. The Sites Quizzes are about the three new sites/cultures introduced in each phase of the WPP. While I will do everything I can to encourage and help students create high-quality essays that cover all the important information, I cannot force authors to consult with me prior to submitting their work. If you read essays and feel like information from the WHEN, WHERE, WHO, or WHY categories is inadequate, it's in your best interest to do a little extra Googling to make sure you have what you need before beginning the Sites Quiz.

See our Deadlines Calendar page under the Syllabus menu for all Sites Quiz deadlines. Remember, quizzes must be submitted BEFORE midnight on the date posted.

Our class homepage will be updated every Wednesday and Saturday morning to display the most up-to-date assignments and deadlines. Sites Quizzes will be clearly linked marked on the homepage blog.

See our Sites Quiz Info page under the Quizzes menu.

A solid study routine for the SQs would be to:

  1. Watch all posted videos, take notes, and complete associated Daily Activities as soon as possible after they're posted. This will help you get a general understanding of the information or topics that will be presented in WPP Essays.

  2. Read the WPP essays regarding the three latest sites/cultures carefully and take notes on all information fitting the categories of WHEN, WHERE, WHO, and WHY as you read.

  3. If you're not satisfied with your notes from the video presentations and the WPP Essays, do a little extra Googling to make sure you have a solid understanding of the WHEN, WHERE, WHO, and WHY topics for each site.

  4. Make sure you have your notes open and ready to use once you've started the online Sites Quiz.

No, see our Sites Quiz Info link under the Quizzes menu for a detailed breakdown of the possible points on each quiz.

Our class Grades table is an intelligent worksheet. It's always dropping your lowest Sites Quiz score to display the best possible grade it can calculate for you.
