ANT 104: REFERENCES GUIDELINES
Plagiarism will not be tolerated! Part of this course is about how to
complete quality research, and how to cite your academic sources appropriately.
Make sure you make a list of references (whether they are websites, journal
articles, or books).
And in all cases, even if you are using information from other sources,
you are expected to present the information in a new and unique manner
using your own words (NO QUOTING AT ALL!).
We will be using a simple numbering system for inline references. That
means after each fact or piece of information you include, you'll just
list a number that refers to your references at the end of the document.
For example:
Easter Island has at least 715 megalithic statues (1).
At the end of your document, you'll list the complete references
in the order in which they appeared in your essay (not alphabetical!).
